biography
Marijan Blazina was born in Rijeka,
Croatia in 1954. He graduated
in Fine Art from the Faculty of
Art in Rijeka.
His work has been exhibited since
1984 and he has been awarded
several prizes for his work, both
in Croatia and abroad. His
major interests are painting,
graphic design,
photography and music.
Marijan is an active participant
in art colonies and art
symposiums in Croatia and
abroad - Split/Croatia, Toledo/
Spain, Nova Gorica/ Slovenia
and most recently he participated |
in 'paint a future' project' in
Santa Carolina / Brazil.
In 1999 he became one of the
founders of educational seminars
for the talented secondary school
pupils in Croatia.
Besides his regular art shows,
Marijan works closely with
the HNK Theater Ivan Zajc
in Rijeka as a consultant in
scenography and costume
design.
His love of music can be
noted in his partnership and
collaboration with numerous
music organizations and
establishments. |
